Li Jinjun meets with Kuwaiti Minister of the Office of Emir

BEIJING, April 17-- Vice-minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on April 17th with the delegation led by Kuwaiti Minister of the Office of Emir Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-Kuwait relations and cooperation in different fields in particular the Kuwaiti strategic plan for development and the Chinese strategies of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road. In an event to experience the traditional Chinese culture, Li also explained to the Kuwaiti guest the organic link between China’s domestic and foreign policies and the Chinese culture and art.

The Kuwaiti Minister expressed gratitude to the International Department for the kind invitation and warm hospitality and said this visit greatly enhanced his knowledge about China’s economic and social achievements. He reaffirmed confidence in the development of relations with China acknowledging the culture backbone behind China’s concept of peaceful development. He believes that China’s development will surely benefit more countries and be conducive to safeguarding world peace and stability.
