BEIJING, April 22 -- Vice minister Yu Hongjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met in Beijing today with the participants of the Workshop for Young Political Leaders of English-Speaking African Countries (the third in 2014).
Yu spoke positively on China-Africa relations and the friendly cooperation China and the CPC enjoy with the participants’ countries and political parties. He stressed that the two sides should further deepen party-to-party ties and exchanges and cooperation among youth organizations to promote the renewal and further development of relations between China and African countries.
Leading participant Thembinkosi Josopu, head of economic transformation, policy and youth development of the ANC Youth League, said that the workshop has helped African young leaders better understand China, and learn from the Chinese experience on governance and the grooming of young leaders.
