Li Jinjun meets with Greek guests

BEIJING, April 29 -- Vice-minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on April 29th with a delegation of the Coalition of the Radical Left of Greece (SYRIZA) led by Costas Isychos, member of the Party’s Political Bureau, and of its Political Secretariat, responsible for foreign policy & defense. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-Greece relations and exchanges between the two parties.

Li positively evaluated the significant progress achieved in China-Greece relations in recent years and hoped the two sides would continue efforts to further expand and deepen cooperation in all fields. He said that the Communist Party of China is willing to strengthen exchanges with SYRIZA on the basis of the four-point principles guiding party-to-party relations, enhance mutual understanding and work together for closer bilateral relations and stronger friendship of the two peoples.

Costas Isychos spoke highly of China's reform and opening-up policy and achievements and said that the SYRIZA party of Greece is keen to have more dialogue and exchanges with the CPC to promote the constant development of friendly and cooperative relations of the two countries.
