DAKAR, May 10 -- Leader of the African Party for the Independence of Cape Verde (PAICV) and Government Prime Minister José Maria Pereira Neves met yesterday in Praia with the goodwill delegation of the Communist Party of China led by vice-minister Yu Hongjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
The Prime Minister commended the history of friendship between Cape Verde and China and said his country will always be a reliable friend and partner of China no matter how the international situation changes.
Yu said great achievements have been scored in cooperation between the two countries in various fields since the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 1976. The Chinese side is happy about the development of the relations between the CPC and the PAICV which are an important part of the state-to-state relations.
