Zhou Li meets with Jan Mladek of ČSSD

BEIJING, June 7 -- Zhou Li, vice minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met today with Jan Mladek, member of the Presidium of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) and minister of Industry and Trade.

Zhou said that as the China-Czech Republic relationship enters a new stage, development opportunities are emerging in various areas of cooperation. The two sides should tap the potential and strive for win-win results on the basis of mutual complementarities, he said. He also expressed the willingness of the CPC to further strengthen exchanges with the ČSSD to promote new developments in substantive cooperation between the two countries.

Mladek said that the new Czech government is keen to take the turning-around of the bilateral relationship as a new starting point to increase high-level exchanges with China, and put the growth of bilateral ties on a fast track. The ČSSD will also consolidate and deepen its relationship and cooperation with the CPC.
