BEIJING, July 21 -- Vice minister Yu Hongjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a study group of the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PDS) headed by Ibrahim Mamane, secretary of training of the National Executive Committee of the PDS.

Yu spoke positively of the relationship between the two countries and the two political parties, saying that the CPC is willing to further its friendly cooperation with the PDS, enhance experience-sharing on governance, and promote continual growth of ties between the two countries.

Mamane said that the PDS and the people of Niger are deeply grateful to the long-time support from the Chinese side, and that the Nigerien side is willing to further promote exchanges and cooperation in various areas between the two parties and the two countries.
