BEIJING, July 24 -- Vice-minister Zhou Li of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met with Mexican Ambassador Julián Ventura.

Zhou appreciates ambassador’s attention to inter-parties exchanges between the two countries.  

Zhou added China values the traditional friendship with Mexico and is willing to develop and deepen the China-Mexico comprehensive strategic partnership to work for new outcome in the mutually beneficial cooperation in different areas.  

Ventura said since President Enrique Peña Nieto assumed office, bilateral relations at both state and party level warmed up.  

He pledged that Mexico will join hands with China to earnestly implement the agreement of the presidents of the two countries to further upgrade the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
