Zhou Li attends first Theoretical Seminar between CPC and PRI

BEIJING, Sept. 2 – Vice Minister Zhou Li of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee attended the first Theoretical Seminar between the Communist Party of China and the Institutional Revolutionary Party of Mexico (PRI), and met with a PRI delegation led by Adrián Gallardo Landeros, president of the Colosio Fundation. Noting that the governing parties of the two countries have seen more exchanges and closer cooperation in recent years, Zhou pointed out that the visit of the PRI delegation and the two parties’ success in holding the first Theoretical Seminar will further enrich the relationship in form and content, which is significant to the efforts to rapidly warm up the China-Mexico relationship in all aspects.

Gallardo said that the PRI cherishes the traditional friendship of the two parties, and is willing to strengthen exchanges of experience on governance with the CPC, to enable quicker development of the China-Mexico comprehensive strategic partnership.

At the one-day seminar, specialists and scholars of the two parties engaged in heated discussion on the current reforms in China and Mexico.
