Beijing, September 9 -- Vice-Minister Xu Lyuping of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met in Beijing on September 9 with Seyoum Mesfin, Ambassador of Ethiopia to China.

Xu told Seyoum that China highly values the friendly and cooperative ties with Ethiopia both on government and party levels, and that the CPC is ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) to further advance the all-round partnership between the two countries.

Ambassador Seyoum also expressed willingness of the Ethiopian side to join efforts with the Chinese side in pushing forward the relations between the two parties and the two countries, which will give impetus to the national development of Ethiopia.
