BEIJING, Sept. 10 -- Vice-Minister Xu Lyuping of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a delegation of the African Party of Independence of Cape Verde (PAICV) led by its secretary-general and the first deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Cape Verde Júlio Correia.

Xu said that over the years China and Cape Verde have maintained a satisfactory relationship of friendly cooperation and the Chinese side will, as always, support Cape Verde in its national development and construction. The CPC stands ready to further its exchanges and cooperation with the PAICV based on the four principles of inter-party relations, said Xu.

Correia thanked China for its support and assistance over the years and hoped to further strengthen the friendly cooperation between the PAICV and the CPC and deepen the two parties’ experience sharing of state and party governance.
