BEIJING, Oct. 14 -- Vice-Minister Guo Yezhou of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on October 14th with Margarita Mileva, vice-chair of the European Left Party and chairwoman of Bulgarian Left Party, and her delegation.

Guo spoke highly of the traditional friendship between the two parties and congratulated the European Left Party on its achievement in the elections of the European Parliament this year. He expressed the wish that the European Left Party will play a bigger role in the European Parliament and promote the further development of China-EU relations.

Mileva said that the visit to China has rendered a more comprehensive and objective understanding about China for the European Left Party and its members. She hoped to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning between her party and the CPC.
