Xu Lyuping meets Myanmar study group

BEIJING, Oct. 21 -- Vice-Minister Xu Lyuping of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on Oct. 21st in Beijing with a study group of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar (USDP) led by U Mya Nyein, Deputy Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw of Myanmar and member of the USDP Executive Committee.

Xu said that China and Myanmar are close neighbors linked by mountains and rivers and friendly relations between the two countries are in line with the fundamental interests of the two peoples. She added that the CPC, which gives premium to its friendly ties with the USDP, is willing to further deepen inter-party exchanges.

U Mya Nyein lauded the friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and said that the USDP is ready to strengthen the friendly cooperation between the CPC to contribute to bilateral friendship.
