BEIJING, October 30 -- Wang Jiarui, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today here with an “A Just Russia” (SR) delegation led by Sergey Mikhailovich Mironov, Chairman of the Party.

Wang affirmed the close relationship enjoyed by the CPC and the SR, citing sound results of exchanges and dialogue between the two parties such as high-level visits to each other, exchanges among young political leaders and jointly held seminars. The CPC pays great attention to the SR’s important role and closely follows the best practices and experience of the SR and other main Russian political parties on party building, Wang said, expressing the CPC’s willingness to enhance exchanges and mutual learning on party-management and governance. He also elaborated the 4th Plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee.

Mironov said that the long-standing constructive dialogue between the SR and the CPC has yielded positive results. At present, the SR is paying special attention to the 4th Plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee and China’s anti-corruption campaign, and hopes to learn from China’s practices and experience to promote its self-building, he said.

The two sides signed an MOU on cooperation from 2015 to 2017 after the meeting.
