BEIJING, October 31 – Assistant Minister Li Jun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met this morning with Sydney A. Seiler, special envoy of the United States Department of State for the Six-Party Talks, and his delegation. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on building the new type of major country relationship between China and the United States and the North Korean nuclear issue.

Kaye Lee, minister counselor of the US Embassy in China, attended the meeting.
