BEIJING, Nov. 21 -- Vice minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee held working talks today with a delegation of Yemen’s General People’s Congress (GPC), led by Abu-Baker Abdulla Alawi al-Qirbi, deputy general secretary of the GPC.

Li said that the CPC is willing to enhance contacts with the GPC on all levels, and have in-depth exchanges of experience on governance, with a view to promoting growth of China-Yemen ties.

Al-Qirbi said that the GPC highly values its friendly cooperation with the CPC, and, under the new circumstances, is willing to strengthen its exchanges with the CPC on governance capability building and cadre training, and deepen cooperation between the two parties in various areas.

The two sides also exchanged views on respective domestic situation.
