BEIJING, Dec. 25 -- Vice-minister Zhou Li of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met with Andrey Denisov, Russian ambassador to China on Dec. 25.

Zhou said that as the heads of state of our two countries reached important consensus on comprehensively deepening bilateral cooperation this year, ministries and departments of the two countries should work earnestly to implement the consensus to promote cooperation in various areas.  

Denisov said that Russia applauds the new progress in bilateral relations at both state and party level and expressed his commitment to the friendship of the two countries.
