BEIJING, Jan. 12 -- Vice-minister Guo Yezhou of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on Jan.12th with Thomas Bagger, director general of the Planning Department of German Federal Foreign Office.  

Guo briefed Bagger on China’s domestic and diplomatic situation and future priorities.  

Bagger said that China’s rapid development means both opportunities and challenges for Germany.  

He added that the two countries should take opportunities to strengthen exchanges on development model and foreign policy to further deepen bilateral relations.
