BEIJING, Jan. 29 -- Assistant minister Li Jun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met in Beijing on Jan. 29th with Kudo Yasushi, director of the Genron NPO of Japan.  

Li commended the efforts of the Genron NPO in improving and developing China-Japan relations, saying that the two countries should work harder to promote bilateral people-to-people exchanges so as to lay a solid public foundation for sustained improvement of bilateral relations.  

He expressed hopes for a strong of the Genron NPO to this end.  

Kudo said that the Genron NPO will continue its good work in hosting the Tokyo-Beijing Forum to shape the Japanese which is more positive towards China and make bigger contribution to China-Japan relations.
