BEIJING, Feb. 3 -- On February 3rd, Xu Lyuping, vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met in Beijing with the delegation of Movement for Democracy of Cape Verde led by its chairman Jose Ulisses Silva, who is also mayor of the capital city of Praia.

Xu spoke highly of friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties. She expressed appreciation to the Movement for Democracy for its contribution to friendship between the two countries. She said that the CPC is willing to further strengthen exchanges with the Movement for Democracy at various levels to promote the development of bilateral relations.

Silva said that his party would like to further deepen friendly relations of cooperation with the CPC to facilitate in-depth development of exchanges and cooperation between the two peoples.
