BRUSSELS, Feb. 4 -- At the invitation of the Madariaga-College of Europe Foundation, a European think-tank, a CPC goodwill delegation visited the European Union today and held talks with European officials and scholars after briefing the European side on the main ideas of the 4th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Gong Pixiang and secretary-general of the Academic Committee at the National Development and Reform Commission Zhang Yansheng, among other members of the delegation, made detailed presentations on the reform policies of the CPC and the Chinese Government to advance the law-based governance and on the relations between reform and the rule of law.
