Chen Fengxiang attends 13th CPC-SPD Foreign Policy and Security Dialogue

BEIJING, March 31 -- On March 31st, Vice-minister Chen Fengxiang of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee attends, in Beijing, 13th Dialogue on Foreign Policy and Security between the Communist Party of China and the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and met with the SPD delegation led by Dr. Rolf Mutzenich, vice-chairman of the SPD Parliamentary Group of the German Bundestag, who was also attending the Dialogue.

Chen made a speech during the Dialogue on the Concept and Practice of Major Country Diplomacy with Chinese Characteristics. He said the Dialogue on Foreign Policy and Security is part and parcel of the regular exchanges and cooperation between the CPC and the SPD. He hopes that the two parties will consolidate mutual trust through high-level dialogues and step up coordination and cooperation on international and regional issues so as to work for the development of relations of China with Germany and the EU.

Mutzenich said Germany sets great store by the international standing and role of China and is willing to contribute to world peace and development through the platform of party-to-party dialogue with the CPC.
