BEIJING, April 8 -- On April 8th Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC and minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met in Beijing with Alexander Kosinets, head of the Belarusian President Administration and his delegation.

Wang said the healthy and stable development of the relations between China and Belarus over the years owes a lot to the great importance attached to such relations by the top leaderships of the two countries and the strong mutual support between China and Belarus. In 2013 the two heads-of-state decided to establish China-Belarus comprehensive strategic partnership which opens up new prospects for the bilateral relations. The exchanges between the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Belarusian President Administration have played an important role in the state-to-state relations. A sound bilateral relation also creates favorable conditions for business cooperation. The two sides are believed to have more and more fruitful cooperation, said Wang.

Kosinets spoke highly of the bilateral relations and expressed gratitude to China for the respect and support of the independent road of development of Belarus over the years. He said Belarus welcomes and supports the "Road and Belt" Initiative by China and believes that the Initiative meets the request for development of Belarus as well. The two countries must make use of this opportunity to enlarge and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the economic field, said Kosinets.
