ABIDJAN, Jan. 12 -- Nigerien President Mahamadou Issoufou, met with the CPC delegation headed by Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in the capital city Niamey yesterday.
Wang conveyed sincere greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping to President Issoufou.
Wang said that China, which gives significance to China-Niger relations, is willing to follow the motto of "sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith" put forward by President Xi Jinping, and pay attention to both principle and interests so as to further boost bilateral relations.
He added that the CPC is ready to intensify contacts with the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism through more exchanges on governance experience.
Issoufou asked Wang to convey his best wishes to President Xi Jinping, saying that Niger is very serious about bilateral relations at the state and party level.
He commended China-Niger cooperation as highly vibrant and praised China's new security concept of mutual benefits.
He looked forward to having more Chinese businesses and investors in Niger.
