Zhou Li meets with Estonian foreign minister

BEIJING, Jan. 22 -- Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee Zhou Li met on January 22nd with Keit Pentus-Rosimannus, foreign minister of Estonia and vice-chairwoman of the Estonian Reform Party.

Zhou said that the Communist Party of China is willing to enhance friendly communication with the Estonian Reform Party, exchange experience of state governance, and promote China-Estonia relations. He also briefed the foreign minister on the strategic initiative of building the Silk Road Economic Belt upon request.

Pentus-Rosimannus said that her party sets great store by Estonia-China relationship and regards China as an important partner for cooperation. Estonia, deeply interested in participating in the building of the Economic Belt, believes that connectivity of the Eurasian continent will surely bring concrete benefits to all relevant countries, said Pentus-Rosimannus.
