BEIJING, March 19 -- Vice-minister Yu Hongjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met today with Sebastian Wood, British ambassador to China.
Yu spoke positively about China-UK relations and party-to-party exchanges, voicing willingness of the Chinese side to work with the UK for further mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
Wood said that the UK sees China as a partner for growth and reform, and hopes to step up exchanges and mutual learning with China with a view to promoting growth in bilateral relations.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues of shared interests, including the Ukraine crisis.
