CPC delegation visits Egypt

CAIRO, Nov. 6 --- At the invitation of Egyptian foreign minister Shoukry, He Yiting, member of the CPC Central Committee and executive deputy president of the Central Party School, led a CPC delegation to Egypt from Nov. 5 to 6, where he met with Shoukry, president Fahmy of the Egyptian Bureau of Management, Investment & Consultancy (EBM) and Baha, Eldin, first deputy chairman of New Wafd Party.

He Yiting gave a briefing on the 4th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, the strategic initiative of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, and the Chinese dream. He also expressed the wish of the CPC to consolidate traditional friendship and jointly pursue development and progress with the Egyptian side.

The Egyptian side spoke highly of its friendly relations with China. It hoped to enhance exchanges and cooperation with China in various areas and make joint efforts to take bilateral strategic cooperation to a higher level.
