BEIJING, Nov.15 --- Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met in Beijing on Nov. 15th with Norodom Arunrasmy, president of the Funcinpec Party of Cambodia.

Wang hailed China-Cambodia friendship as the theme of bilateral relations. He said that the friendship was jointly created and developed by the old generation of Chinese leaders and late King Sihanouk and it’s the responsibility of our generation to carry it forward.

He added that the CPC, which has maintained long-term friendly ties with the Funcinpec Party, is willing to further enhance inter-party exchanges through exchanges at different levels in various fields such as youths and women and governance experience to consolidate bilateral relations.

Arunrasmy said that the Funcinpec Party, which was founded by late King Sihanouk, will unswervingly carry on the heritage of Cambodia-China friendship founded by the late king and remain committed, as always, to the friendly cooperation with the CPC to nourish bilateral friendship to deliver benefits to the two peoples.
