At the invitation of Direction-Social Democracy, Shen Beili, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Slovakia from June 13th to 16th. Shen met with leaders of major political parties including Robert Fico, President of the Direction-Social Democracy, and introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the situation of China’s reform and development. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on relations between political parties of both countries.
Speaking highly of China’s development achievements and the positive significance of the Belt and Road Initiative to cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, Slovakia hopes to deepen exchanges between political parties to push forward the development of Slovakia-China relations.
