 ( 2018.06.21 )

Beijing, June 21th--Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with the delegation led by Foumakoye Gado, Acting President of Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism (PNDS).

Song expressed that Niger is an important cooperation partner of China in Africa. In recent years, bilateral friendly and cooperative relations have enjoyed comprehensive and rapid development with fruitful results. The width and depth of exchanges and cooperation between the CPC and the PNDS have been constantly elevated. It is hoped that the two parties will take the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to be held this year as an opportunity to promote the relations between the two parties and the two countries to new stages.

Gado noted that both China and Niger are developing countries. The CPC leads China to achieve remarkable development, greatly inspiring such backward country as Niger that longs for development. The PNDS hopes to learn the experience on poverty alleviation, reform and opening up from the CPC, draw on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s philosophy on party governance and state administration, and improve people’s livelihood and change the country by successful governance like the CPC has done.
