Beijing, June 21st—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the cadre study group of Palestinian Fatah headed by Abdel-Elah Atira, Member of Fatah Revolutionary Council and Deputy  Commissioner for Relations with Arab Countries and China.

Speaking positively of China-Palestine traditional friendship, Li expressed that China will, as always, support the just cause of the Palestinian people. The CPC attaches importance to developing its friendly relations with Fatah, and is willing to strengthen exchanges and experience communication at all levels between the two parties, so as to promote the relations between both parties and both countries for constant and forward-looking development.

Atira thanked China for supporting Palestine for a long time, and expressed that Fatah hopes to constantly deepen relations between both parties, learn from the CPC’s experience in party building and state governance and administration, and promote Palestine-China cooperation in various fields through party-to-party exchanges.
