Beijing, July 11th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Khemaies Jhinaoui, Tunisian Foreign Minister.

Both sides spoke positively of the substantial progress China-Tunisia relations have made, and agreed to effectively implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Beji Caid Essebsi on further developing China-Tunisia relations, so as to elevate China-Tunisia relations to new stages. Both sides also exchanged in-depth views on deepening mutually beneficial cooperation under the Belt and Road framework, advancing the Beijing Summit of the Forum of China-Africa Cooperation for fruitful outcomes and jointly safeguarding the interests of developing countries as well as promoting the building of a new type of international relations.
