Beijing, July 11th—Li Jun,Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Khaled Hussein Alyemany, Yemeni Foreign Minister, who was in China for the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF).

Li expressed that China and Yemen enjoy a long-standing friendship. Attaching importance to its relations with Yemen, the Chinese side is willing to enhance exchanges and intensify cooperation with Yemen, as well as continue providing Yemen with support and assistance, so as to promote bilateral relations for steady development.

Speaking highly of President Xi Jinping’s important speech at the opening ceremony of the CASCF Ministerial Meeting, Khaled expressed the Yemeni side’s willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields with China, in a bid to promote bilateral relations for greater development.
