Victoria, July 13th--Danny Faure, President of Seychelles, met here today with Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Song conveyed President Xi Jinping’s warm greetings to President Danny Faure, and expressed that China and Seychelles enjoy a long-standing friendship which becomes even firmer as times goes by. President Faure is welcome to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in China this September. The Chinese side will continue to uphold the principle of sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith proposed by President Xi Jinping to promote the relations between both countries to new stages.

Faure asked Song to convey his best wishes to President Xi Jinping, and expressed that Seychelles and China, as good brothers, good friends and good partners, have enjoyed fruitful results from bilateral comprehensive and practical cooperation for a long time. Faure looks forward to attending the FOCAC Beijing Summit, so as to further promote Africa-China comprehensive strategic partnership for forward-looking development.
