On July 16th, Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with the cadre study group of the Republican Proposal party (PRO) of Argentina led by Humberto Schiavoni, PRO President.

Qian expressed that China-Argentina relations have enjoyed sustained, healthy and comprehensive development on the basis of high-level political mutual trust, steady and practical cooperation and profound friendship between people of the two countries. The CPC is willing to, together with the PRO, establish a new type of relations between political parties and propel China-Argentina comprehensive strategic partnership to constantly achieve new development.

Schiavoni noted that Argentina regards China as significant development opportunities, and welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest in Argentina. The CPC is the closest exchanging partner of the PRO. The PRO stands ready to learn deeply from the CPC’s experience in party governance and state administration to improve governance capability and promote national development and construction.

After the meeting, China Center for Contemporary World Studies signed the memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Thinking Foundation of the PRO.
