Beijing, September 5th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with the 3rd senior cadre study group of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Son Minh Thang, Member of the CPV Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee for Central Agencies Block.

Song expressed that under the care and direct promotion of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, China-Vietnam relations have enjoyed constant and sound development. Strengthening exchanges of experience in state governance and administration is an important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties. It is believed that the Vietnamese side’s visit this time will achieve fruitful results and play a positive role in promoting the healthy and stable development of China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

Son Minh Thang noted that the CPV stands ready to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC to jointly advance the development of the cause of socialism.

Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the IDCPC, and Huang Xianqi, Vice President of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, attended the meeting.
