Beijing, August 31st—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the morning with the 5th Leading Cadres Study Group of Vietnamese Political Parties and Governments from 2016-2020 headed by Hồ Đặng Chỉ, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Provincial Organization Department.

Speaking highly of the traditional friendship and close exchanges between the two parties and the two countries, Qian pointed out that the two parties shoulder the historical mission of ensuring that their people enjoy more prosperous and happier lives, that their country enjoy greater prosperity and strength, and that their socialist cause enjoy greater development and progress. Strengthening exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration in theory and practice between the two sides has played a positive role in promoting the in-depth development of relations between the two parties and the two countries.

Speaking highly of the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries, Hồ wished that the CPC will lead the Chinese people to achieve greater achievements under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and hoped to fully learn from the Chinese side's development experience through the inspection and exchanges in China.

Relevant principals of the International Exchange Center of the IDCPC and the Party School of the CPC Central Committee as well as personnel from the Vietnamese Embassy in China attended the meeting.
