Li Jun Meets with Delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Norwegian Parliament

Beijing, September 6th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Norwegian Parliament headed by Anniken Huitfeldt, Chair of the Standing Committee.

Speaking positively of China-Norway relations, Li expressed that the CPC attaches importance to its relations with Norwegian political parties, and is willing to continue to have communication with various political parties in Norway on experience in state governance and administration, development strategies and topics of mutual interest so as to elevate China-Norway relations to new stages.

The Norwegian side noted that the main political parties of Norway are willing to enhance exchanges with the CPC and promote practical cooperation between both countries in various fields through inter-party exchanges in a bid to promote Norway-China relations for healthy and stable development and benefit the two peoples.
