Beijing, September 14th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with Armen Papikyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia.

Speaking positively of China-Armenia relations, Qian Hongshan expressed that the CPC is willing to continue deepening exchanges with political parties of Armenia, and promote the development of national relations and practical cooperation in various fields. The Chinese side is willing to join hands and make efforts with the Armenian side to jointly push the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and benefit the two countries and the two peoples.

Papikyan noted that the Armenian side attaches high importance to developing relations with China, and stands ready to further propel bilateral and inter-party exchanges on the existing foundation. Armenia is willing to take the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative as an opportunity to constantly elevate bilateral practical cooperation in various fields.
