Xu Lyuping Meets with Secretary-General of the Congolese Labor Party and President of the Senate of the Republic of the Congo

Beijing, September 13th--Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Pierre Ngolo, Secretary-General of the Congolese Labor Party and President of the Senate of the Republic of the Congo.

Speaking positively of the traditional friendship between China and the Republic of Congo, Xu expressed that the CPC attaches high importance to developing its relations with the Congolese Labor Party, and is willing to take the holding of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) as an opportunity to actively implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries as well as the outcomes of the FOCAC Beijing Summit, so as to promote the building of a new type of relations between political parties of China and the Republic of the Congo, and the building of an even stronger community with a shared future for China and Africa. 

Highly appraising the historic achievements from the FOCAC Beijing Summit, Ngolo expressed that the Congolese Labor Party stands ready to continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties in various fields, and strengthen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, so as to further consolidate the political foundation of the relations between the two countries.
