Beijing, September 18th—You Quan, Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) headed by José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and Head of the Department of International Relations of the PCC Central Committee.
You expressed that China and Cuba are a socialist community with a shared future. Under the care and promotion of General Secretary Xi Jinping and First Secretary Raúl Castro, the relations between the two Parties and the two countries have witnessed rapid development with new outcomes have been made in various fields. The CPC is willing to, together with the PCC, improve the exchange mechanism, deepen exchanges of experience in party governance and state administration, and further give play to the political guiding role of the relations between the two Parties for the relations between the two countries.
Balaguer noted that the PCC stands ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC and learn from China’s development experience.
