Qian Hongshan Meets with CPN Cadre Study Group

Beijing, September 20th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a cadre study group of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) led by Narayan Shrestha, Member of CPN Central Secretariat, CPN spokesperson and former deputy Prime Minister.

Speaking positively about China-Nepal relations, Qian expressed that the CPC and the CPN share similar governance philosophy and missions. Both sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation, well implement the important consensus of the leaders of both countries, deepen experience exchanges of party governance and state administration, as well as explore and develop a new type of inter-party relations featuring the pursuit of common ground while reserving differences, mutual respect and mutual learning, so as to play a political leading role in deepening China-Nepal relations.

Shrestha expressed that the CPN attaches great importance to developing its relations with the CPC and expects to further deepen the exchanges between the two Parties, reinforce mutual learning and constantly boost the building of respective Parties and countries, in a bid to promote the constant and forward-looking development of the friendly cause between Nepal and China.
