Beijing, September 21st—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a cadre study group of Croatian Democratic Union headed by Karlo Ressler, member of Croatian Democratic Union and an advisor to the Prime Minister of Croatia.

Qian made positive comments on China-Croatia relations, saying that the CPC is ready to strengthen exchanges with the Croatian Democratic Union, promote practical cooperation in all fields and push for in-depth development of China-Croatia comprehensive cooperative partnership. The Chinese side is ready to make joint efforts with the Croatian side to promote the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and the “16+1 cooperation” under this framework to benefit the two countries and their people.

Ressler spoke highly of the positive results of Croatia-China relations and the "16+1 cooperation", saying that the Croatian Democratic Union attaches great importance to developing friendly exchanges with the CPC, and is ready to take the opportunity of building the Belt and Road Initiative to push forward Croatia-China relations for new development through inter-party exchanges.
