Islamabad, October 15th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Ahsan Iqbal, Acting Secretary General of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N).

Song expressed that China and Pakistan are good neighbors, good partners and good brothers. In 2015, President Xi Jinping paid a successful visit to Pakistan. And bilateral relations have been lifted to the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. China-Pakistan relations have constantly made new progress. The CPC is willing to continue maintaining friendly exchanges with PML-N to create sound political atmosphere for the development of the relations between the two countries and the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Iqbal noted that China is the most trustworthy friend of Pakistan and Pakistan-China friendship is unbreakable. PML-N looks forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation, mutual learning on party governance and state administration between the two Parties, in a bid to jointly contribute to the development of Pakistan-China relations and the advancement of the construction of the CPEC.
