After the election as Chinese President in 2013, President Xi Jinping made Tanzania the first stop in Africa of his overseas visit, which has opened a new chapter in China-Tanzania friendship. The CPC and the CCM have maintained friendly exchanges and cooperation for a long time, which not only becomes a model of exchanges between political parties of China and Africa, but also leads the constant and forward-looking development of China-Tanzania relations. The CPC is willing to further strengthen high-level exchanges and strategic communication between the two Parties, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, advance multilateral exchanges between political parties, and promote bilateral practical cooperation, in a bid to elevate China-Tanzania comprehensive cooperative partnership featuring mutual benefit and win-win cooperation to new highs through the new cooperation outcomes between the two Parties.

Regarding China as a sincere friend of Africa, the Tanzanian side highly commends President Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Beijing Summit, and believes that the speech will surely guide and promote China-Africa cooperation to open up a new era. The Tanzanian side firmly supports and actively participates in China-Africa cooperation, and will further intensify the relations between the CCM and the CPC and comprehensively strengthen Tanzania-China practical cooperation in various areas.
