Beijing, November 10th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Sergei Levchenko, Member of the Presidium of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and Governor of Irkutsk Oblast.

Speaking highly of China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination and the relations between the two Parties, Qian expressed that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin, China-Russia relations have always maintained development at a high level. The CPC is willing to, together with the CPRF, continue to intensify exchanges at all levels, enhance theoretical discussions and exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, and support practical cooperation at sub-national level, so as to make greater contributions to the development of China-Russia relations.

Levchenko expressed that the development of Russia-China relations at a high level is an important guarantee for maintaining world peace and stability. The CPRF stands ready to continue to comprehensively strengthen its exchanges with the CPC in various fields, and actively promote Irkutsk Oblast and other places to deepen cooperation with China.
