November 15th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today on the morning with a senior cadre study group of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) headed by Suos Yara, Member of the CPP Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the CPP Central Committee and Member of the National Assembly of Cambodia.

Li said that China and Cambodia are good neighbors and true friends who trust each other. Both sides should further enhance mutual political trust, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, and push China-Cambodia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for constant, substantial and concrete outcomes. The CPC is willing to work with the CPP to well implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two Parties, in a bid to guide sound and stable development of the relations between the two countries.

Speaking highly of China’s tremendous development achievements, Suos Yara expressed that Cambodia stands ready to learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration and contribute to in-depth development of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries.
