Li Jun Meets with Cadre Study Groups of Political Parties from Countries in Maghreb and North Africa

Hangzhou, November 23rd—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at noon with cadre study groups of main political leaders from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Mauritania, Djibouti as well as that of North African countries. The groups were headed by Nouara Saadia Djaafar, member of national bureau of the National Rally for Democracy and Deputy Speaker of the Council of the Nation of Algeria.

Li welcomed all party leaders to attend the second China-Arab Political Parties Dialogue, and spoke highly of the friendly relations between China and North African countries. He expressed that the CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields with all political parties in North African countries to make positive contributions to building a China-Arab and China-Africa community of shared future.

Congratulating on the successful holding of the Dialogue, all party leaders noted that they had gained a deeper understanding of party governance and state administration as well as reform and opening up from the CPC. They are willing to work with the CPC to actively promote African countries to join the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative with China to bring benefits for the two peoples.
