Beijing, November 28th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met today on the morning with a delegation comprised of leaders of major political parties of Iraq. The delegation was led by Nassar Al-Rubaiee, Chairman of Political Board of the Sadrist Trend of Iraq.

Li welcomed the leaders of political parties of Iraq to attend the 2nd China-Arab Political Parties Dialogue in China, and spoke positively of the friendly cooperation between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic relations 60 years ago. He added that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with all parties of Iraq and boost the development of China-Iraq strategic partnership through inter-party exchanges.

The leaders of political parties of Iraq congratulated on the successful convening of the Dialogue, as well as expressed their willingness to carry out various kinds of exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, and learn its successful experience in such areas as economic development, reform and opening up, Party building and combating corruption.
