Beijing, November 30th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at noon with a delegation of leaders of Yemeni political parties headed by Abdulmalik Al-Mikhlafi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Nasserist Unionist People’s Organization of Yemen and former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Yemen.

Li welcomed the leaders of various Yemeni political parties who were in China for the 2nd China-Arab Political Parties Dialogue, and expressed that the CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation with various parties of Yemen to promote the development of national relations. Li stressed that China will, as always, support Yemen’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Congratulating on the successful convening of the dialogue, leaders of various Yemeni political parties spoke positively of the friendly relations between the two countries and inter-party exchanges between the two sides, and thanked China’s just position on the Yemeni issue and humanitarian assistance to Yemen.
