Niamey, December 4th—Mahamadou Issoufou, Nigerien President, met here today with a CPC delegation headed by Ding Yexian, Executive Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Xi Zang Autonomous Region.
Issoufou said that Niger attaches great importance to its relations with China and hopes to speed up major cooperation projects of both countries so as to promote economic development of Niger. Ding said that China is willing to accelerate the implementation of the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Issoufou as well as the outcomes from the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, in a bid to better benefit the two peoples.
During his stay in Niger, Ding also held working talks with Foumakoye Gado, Vice President of Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism.
